Intuitive Abstract Expressionism
Fluid Acrylic and Resin
I am primarily a self taught artist residing in the beautiful Governors Bay in Christchurch, New Zealand. I began my artistic journey several years ago after a life threatening accident forced me to make vast changes in both my lifestyle and my work life. Art became my saving grace, my therapy and my new way of existing in the world. It has been the absolute silver lining to that fateful day, and I have gone on to find myself creating artworks that resonate with others, connecting with people through a tangible response to viewing my work. It is a humbling and exciting journey to be on and I am eternally grateful that I get to live this out, day by day.
am known for both my beautifully flowing, organic, abstract pieces on board, with the glassy shine of resin to top them off. Work that is fluid, filled with movement and wonder. And my more recent works in intuitive expressionism - where textures, complex layers, brushstrokes, colour, energy and life demonstrate my interaction with the canvas at any given moment. This art form allows me to move intuitively through my internal landscape, as I express on canvas what is swirling within, either in my emotions, my thoughts or my intuition. Where my faith pushes forth to conquer and convey thoughts and feelings of joy, conflict, resolution, intensity, calm and joy. Each piece takes its own journey and ultimately becomes what it’s always sought to become…I am merely the instrument for the art to be brought to life.

Since 2019, I have exhibited in art shows and galleries throughout NZ and have sold work into homes and collections both nationally and overseas.
